Accent Art Advisory is an independent advisory practice founded on a single principle: that collectors deserve representation that is completely free of the commercial conflicts that pervade the art market.

Galleries have inventory to sell. Auction houses earn commission from sellers. Most advisors hold one or both allegiances simultaneously. We hold neither. Our practice is funded entirely by our clients — which means we are the only party in the room whose incentives align with theirs.

We work with a small number of private collectors and institutions. We take on new advisory relationships selectively — because attentive, conflict-free advisory is not scalable beyond a certain point, and we would rather do fewer things well than many things adequately.
